ANXA8 wt Allele Definition

Human ANXA8 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 10q11.2 and is approximately 24 kb in length. This allele, which encodes annexin A8 protein, is involved in anticoagulation. Overexpression of this gene has been associated with acute myelocytic leukemia.
