Activator of G-Protein Signaling 1 Protein Definition
Expressed in a variety of tissues (heart strongest), human RASD1 Gene (RASD GTPase Family) at 17p11.2 encodes 281-aa 32-kDa Activator of G-Protein Signaling 1, a dexamethasone inducted RAS-related protein that may play a role in alterations of cell morphology, growth, and cell-extracellular matrix interactions. RASD1 may form a ternary complex with CAPON and NOS1 and may function as a physiologic nitric oxide (NO) effector.
