CD134 Ligand Definition
OX40 ligand is a type II membrane protein and member of the tumor necrosis factor family. OX40L interaction with its receptor OX40 may induce T-cell activation. Treatment with an antibody against OX40 ligand (OX40L) prevents rheumatoid arthritis in a murine model of the disease. (from Eur J Immunol 2000. 30:2815, OMIM 603594, and NCI)
