Human CSF1R wild-type allele is located within 5q33-q35 and is approximately 60 kb in length. This allele, which encodes macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor precursor (CSF-1-R) protein, is involved in the production, differentiation, and function of macrophages and signal transduction that regulates cell fate.
