Diff-Quik Staining Method Definition
Diff-Quick is an alcoholic, quick staining method for cytology. It consists of two solutions: an eosinophilic (red) solution and a basophilic (blue) stain. It is used for identifying squamous epithelial cells, inflammatory cells, yeast, bacteria, etc.
