ETS1 Protein Definition

A member of the ETS family of transcription factors, ETS1 Protein is a set of 42-52 kD nuclear phosphoproteins that activate transcription by interaction with purine-rich sequences in gene promoter/enhancer regions. (from OMIM 164720 and NCI)
