Everolimus Gefitinib Definition
A chemotherapy drug combination consisting of everolimus and gefitinib. Everolimus is a proliferation inhibitor with immunosuppressive and anti-angiogenic properties. Gefitinib is an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitor with anti-angiogenic activity. This combination chemotherapy may result in increased tumor cell death compared to the use of either agent alone. (NCI05)
