Encoded by human EXTL1 Gene (EXT Family), 676-aa 75-kDa Exostosin-Like 1 is a type II membrane protein glycosyltransferase of the endoplasmic reticulum with strong sequence similarity to EXT1 and EXT2 and likely involved in chain elongation during heparan sulfate and heparin biosynthesis. (NCI)
