FOSB Protein Definition

Encoded by human FOSB Gene, FOSB is a leucine zipper protein that can dimerize with proteins of the JUN family, forming transcription factor complex AP-1. As such, FOSB appears to be a regulator of cell proliferation, differentiation, and transformation. (NCI)
