Human YEATS4 wild-type allele is located within 12q13-q15 and is approximately 31 kb in length. This allele, which encodes YEATS domain containing protein 4, may play a role in the modulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Aberrant elevated expression of the gene is associated with gliomas.
