HRH2 wt Allele Definition

Human HRH2 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 5q35.2 and is approximately 2 kb in length. This allele, which encodes histamine H2 receptor protein, plays a role in several processes, including gastric acid secretion stimulation, gastrointestinal motility and intestinal secretion. The allele is also thought to be involved in the regulation of cellular growth and differentiation.
