Lymphocyte Destruction Inhibition Definition
Lymphocyte Destruction Inhibition involves interference with, or restraint of, activities that result in elimination of white blood cells formed in lymphoid tissue and generally classified as T- or B-cells. T-lymphocytes provide cell-mediated immunity, while B-lymphocytes produce antibodies that provide humoral immunity. Stimulation increases the immune response to invading substances.
