Melanoma Monoclonal Antibody hIgG2A Definition
One of a number human monoclonal antibodies of the immunoglobulin subclass IgG2a directed against melanoma antigens with potential antineoplastic activity. A melanoma monoclonal antibody, subclass IgG2A, may have potential use as a diagnostic agent and, therapeutically, may induce macrophage-mediated cytotoxicity against antibody-bound melanoma cells.
