Microtubule Alteration Definition
Microtubule Alteration consists of a change in the composition, construction, maintenance, or function of filaments of variable length in the cytoskeleton composed primarily of conserved alpha, beta, and gamma tubulin that support movement of chromosomes or chromatids during mitosis and meiosis; and give shape, structure, and organization to the cytoplasm and to a cell.
