Myeloid Cell Activation Definition
Myeloid Cell Activation involves stimulation of the production and activity of myeloid cells. Formed in the bone marrow, myeloid cells are leukocytes that defend the body against foreign substances. These cells include monocytes and granulocytes that protect the body against invading substances by ingesting or phagocytizing them.
