Nuclear Receptor Coactivator-3 Definition
NCOA3 is a nuclear receptor coactivator that directly binds nuclear receptors and stimulates the transcriptional activities in hormone-dependent fashion. NCOA3 recruits 2 other nuclear factors, CBP and PCAF, and thus plays a central role in creating a multisubunit coactivator complex. (LocusLink)
