PSCA Protein Definition
Human prostate stem cell antigen (123 amino acids, 13 kDa) is encoded by the PSCA gene. This glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked cell surface antigen is directly correlated with the severity of prostate cancer severity, and inversely with prognosis. It has been utilized as a biomarker for bladder, prostate, and pancreatic cancers.
