Palmitoylated Membrane Protein-3 Definition
Encoded by human MPP3 Gene (MAGUK Family), 585-aa 66-kDa Palmitoylated Membrane Protein 3 is suspected to play a role in signal transduction and contains 1 PDZ/DHR domain, a conserved SH3 domain, and 1 guanylate kinase-like domain. MAGUKs interact with the cytoskeleton and regulate cell proliferation, signaling pathways, and intercellular junctions. (NCI)
