Receptor-Interacting Serine-Threonine Kinase-1 Definition
A 74 kDa serine/threonine kinase originally identified by its ability to associate with Fas/APO-1 and induce cell death. RIP interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of FAS, and with TNFR1 through the adaptor proteins TRADD and TRAFs 1, 2, and 3.
