Schipperke Definition
The Schipperke is a small, thickset, tail-less dog with a thick double coat and a ruff around the neck. In color, the Schipperke is solid black; however, the breed also comes in a range of tans and fawns. The head is wedge-shaped with a pointed muzzle, like a fox. The small, erect ears are triangular in shape. Height: 10-13 inches (21-33 cm.) Weight: 12-18 pounds (5.5-8 kg.)
