Thymic Lipoma Definition
An unusual benign tumor of the thymus found in young to middle-aged adults. Distinctive features include lobules of unremarkable thymic tissue, complete with cortex, medulla and Hasall corpuscles, admixed evenly with mature adipose tissue and bound by thin fibrous capsule.
