Thyroid Hormone Receptor Interactor-10 Definition
Expressed in skeletal muscle, heart, placenta, pancreas, lung, liver, kidney, and brain by human TRIP10 Gene, 545-aa 63-kDa Thyroid Hormone Receptor Interactor 10 contains an SH3 domain, an FCH domain, and similarity to the non-kinase domains of FER and FES/FPS tyrosine kinases. Likely involved in CDC42 and WASP-dependent signal transduction, TRIP10 binds to activated CDC42 and may link CDC42 signaling with regulation of the actin cytoskeleton. TRIP10 specifically interacts (TH-dependent) with the ligand-binding domain of TR. (NCI)
