VIL2 wt Allele Definition

Human EZR wild-type allele is located within 6q25.2-q26 and is approximately 54 kb in length. This allele, which encodes ezrin protein, is involved in the regulation of cellular structure, adhesion and migration. The allele is expressed aberrantly at elevated levels in metastatic cells.
